Album Notes & Community Reviews

The legendary D.I.T.C. producer and MC delivered his most polished, heavily jazz-inflected solo record to date. The production completely eschews modern synthesizer trends, relying entirely on smooth, impeccably chopped soul and jazz loops that define the purest essence of mid-90s New York boom bap. Despite a lack of massive commercial success, its pristine production values cemented his reputation as a master architect of East Coast hip-hop.
