Corporal

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Shrouded in layers of fuzz and motorik rhythms, 'Corporal' pushes Lorelle Meets the Obsolete deeper into hypnotic, krautrock-indebted psychedelia. The Mexican duo constructs dense walls of shoegaze guitar noise underpinned by propulsive, repetitive drumming and ethereal vocal melodies. The resulting atmosphere is both claustrophobic and deeply immersive, reflecting a meticulous mastery of noise and texture.
