Moving away from their earlier ethereality, the Ensenada duo embraced a more aggressive and rhythmically rigid sound on this sixth studio project. The production focuses on sharp synthesizer stabs and driving basslines that bridge the gap between heavy psychedelia and 1980s industrial post-punk. It conceptually addresses the sensory overload of contemporary life, delivered through high-contrast dynamics and visceral instrumental textures.
