Album Notes & Community Reviews

Functioning as a radical deconstruction of 1990s stadium dance music, the Italian producer isolates the ecstatic, arpeggiated synthesizer builds of classic trance music and removes the percussion entirely. The resulting compositions are intensely repetitive, pointillist exercises in tension that stubbornly refuse to ever deliver a satisfying bass drop. It is a highly cerebral, academic reimagining of rave culture that significantly influenced the modern avant-garde electronic landscape.
