Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released as her star was rapidly ascending within the country music establishment, 'Before I'm Over You' highlights Loretta Lynn's incredibly sharp, unvarnished vocal twang. The album effectively balances traditional honky-tonk grit and themes of heartbreak with the increasingly slick, string-heavy production values favored by mid-sixties Nashville recording studios.
