Album Notes & Community Reviews
Marking the band's tenth anniversary, the record documents their move toward increasingly sophisticated and guitar-driven arrangements. The production emphasizes high-contrast dynamics and intricate vocal counterpoint that address the anxieties of aging and political disillusionment. It serves as a definitive summary of the group's standing in the British alternative scene, prioritizing melodic hooks and structural variety.
