Album Notes & Community Reviews

Informally known as 'El volant铆n', the debut LP from Los Jaivas introduces a deeply chaotic and experimental fusion of indigenous Andean music and rock instrumentation. The Chilean group employs unbridled free improvisation and traditional acoustic instruments, laying the groundwork for their highly influential pan-Americana sound.
