By the turn of the decade the Moyobamba group had settled in Lima as the emblematic band of Amazonian cumbia, led by singer Jorge Rodr铆guez Gr谩ndez with Danny Johnston and Gilberto Re谩tegui on guitars. The title promises the flavour of the jungle, and the band's twin guitar lines over congas and timbales had made them fixtures of Peruvian popular music.
