Album Notes & Community Reviews

Inspired by Ariel Ramírez's folk mass, the group's setting places each part of the liturgy in a Canarian form, with isas, folías and seguidillas in the Gloria and a tajaraste and tango herreño later in the service. It was recorded in La Laguna's Teatro Guimerá with modest means, and the painter Manolo Millares designed the cover of the first edition.
