Album Notes & Community Reviews
Nassau bandleader Lou Adams fronts the session while the singing is shared by Blind Blake, Jack Roker and Cyril Ferguson, three voices central to Bahamian goombay. Across eight tracks including 'Barnyard Calypso' and 'Coconut Man', the record documents the hotel-band era that carried the islands' music to visitors.
