Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded at The Wiltern in Los Angeles, the Velvet Underground frontman assembled a unique, drumless ensemble featuring cellist Jane Scarpantoni. The resulting album breathes spacious, elegant new life into his extensive catalog, framing his iconic street poetry in heavily atmospheric, chamber-rock arrangements.
