Perfect Night: Live in London

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded at the Meltdown Festival organized by Laurie Anderson, this semi-acoustic concert presents the famously abrasive songwriter in an unusually warm, relaxed setting. Backed by a sparse band featuring long-time collaborator Mike Rathke, Reed reinterprets Velvet Underground classics and solo material with hushed, conversational intimacy. The setlist Notably debuted 'Perfect Day' in a live acoustic format to an adoring UK crowd.
