Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded at the Howard Stein's Academy of Music in New York, this set famously features a dual-guitar attack from Steve Hunter and Dick Wagner that completely transformed Reed's skeletal Velvet Underground material into muscular arena-rock anthems. The performance is a definitive monument to mid-70s glam-rock excess and street-smart urban nihilsm.
