Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded with stark simplicity, 'Ramblin' on My Mind' introduces a voice that would eventually redefine contemporary roots music. Focusing heavily on foundational country and delta blues covers, the acoustic arrangements allow her raw, emotionally weathered vocal delivery to take center stage. The record serves as an essential historical document of her unadorned, formative artistic sensibilities.
