Album Notes & Community Reviews

In the later, highly reclusive stage of his career, the iconic Italian musician continued his esoteric collaboration with lyricist Pasquale Panella. 'Cosa succeder脿 alla ragazza' completely abandons his classic acoustic balladry for icy, rhythmic electronic sequencing and dense, cryptic wordplay. The notoriously challenging and experimental album divided audiences but remains a fascinating exploration of post-modern Italian pop.
