Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Chicago rapper, who had just shortened his name from Lucki Eck$, built the mixtape from hazy, weightless beats and a slurred, confessional delivery. Along with his earlier Freewave tapes it fixed the template for a generation of underground internet rap, and 'Owe Me' became one of his signature songs.
