Album Notes & Community Reviews

Featuring a towering performance by Vladimir Horowitz alongside Fritz Reiner and the RCA Victor Symphony Orchestra, this recording captures the monumental scale of Beethoven's final piano concerto. The interpretation brilliantly balances the work's heroic, martial power with its delicate, highly demanding lyrical passages. It is universally cited as an authoritative, technically dazzling execution of classical-era majesty.
