Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded in New York, the virtuoso guitarist's jazz fusion effort blends his masterful acoustic bossa nova fingerpicking with heavy orchestration and electric instrumentation. Arranged in part by Eumir Deodato, the record features a slick, sophisticated production style that attempts to bridge traditional Brazilian melodicism with the burgeoning American crossover jazz market. The album stands as a beautifully textured, deeply romantic exploration of Latin jazz integration.
