Koshka

Album Notes & Community Reviews

The record explores a grittier and often dissonant brand of boom-bap characterized by its low-fidelity production and dense vocal layering. The arrangements on 'Koshka' prioritize the 'drumless' aesthetic, utilizing dusty loops and aggressive rhythmic breaks to support an introspective narrative. It documents the artist's early experimentation with 'lobit' sound design and quirky instrumental flourishes within the Southern underground scene.
