Album Notes & Community Reviews

Hailing from Baltimore, the hypnotic quartet made their full-length debut on the legendary Dischord roster with this intense, heavily rhythmic collection. 'Talking Songs for Walking' establishes their trademark sound: cyclical, driving guitar riffs anchored by Daniel Higgs' deeply esoteric, philosophical vocal chants. The band's uniquely meditative approach to post-hardcore provided a stark, intellectual contrast to the more explosive acts of the era.
