Album Notes & Community Reviews
Jeff McIlwain's 'A Pseudo Steady State', released under his Lusine icl alias, works the melodic strain of IDM: granular textures and downtempo rhythms organized into patient, nocturnal structures. McIlwain, a Dallas native trained at CalArts, later split material from the album across the Hymen Records EPs 'Freak' and 'Slipthrough'.
