Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded during a tumultuous period following the departure of guitarist Ed King, this album finds the quintessential southern rock band operating temporarily as a six-piece. The production by Tom Dowd brought a leaner, slightly more polished approach to their gritty boogie-rock sound. Though initially lacking a massive radio hit, it endures as a tough, highly underrated entry in their classic 1970s run.
