Album Notes & Community Reviews
Rebranding from Martha and the Muffins to M+M, the Canadian outfit teamed up with producer Daniel Lanois for this sleek, rhythmic outing. 'Mystery Walk' blends sophisticated pop-rock with new wave and funk influences, highlighted by the breakout dance hit 'Black Stations/White Stations'. Lanois' dense, atmospheric production perfectly complements the band's intelligent, urban songwriting.
