Album Notes & Community Reviews
A defining artifact of the Queensbridge hip-hop movement, this debut is heavily anchored by Marley Marl's revolutionary, sample-heavy boom-bap production. Shan's boastful, high-pitched delivery and the inclusion of the iconic anthem 'The Bridge' solidified the record's profound influence on East Coast rap.
