Album Notes & Community Reviews

Tasked with following up the massive, global success of 'Hurry Up, We're Dreaming', Anthony Gonzalez pivots sharply away from stadium-sized dream pop. Instead, the record serves as a wildly eclectic, deeply nostalgic homage to 1980s television themes, smooth jazz, and retro adult-contemporary pop. It features surprising collaborations with Steve Vai and Beck, polarizing fans with its proudly cheesy, anachronistic aesthetic.
