Album Notes & Community Reviews

Pivoting away from the dark, drug-addled introspection of 'Faces', the Pittsburgh rapper delivers a remarkably bright, jazz-inflected celebration of love and romance. The album relies heavily on live instrumentation, lush neo-soul grooves, and high-profile vocal contributions from Anderson .Paak, Kendrick Lamar, and Ariana Grande. It served as a beautiful, surprisingly tender maturation in his tragically abbreviated discography.
