Album Notes & Community Reviews

Mac Miller's sophomore album marks a dramatic stylistic evolution, abandoning his earlier frat-rap persona for deeply introspective, psychedelic hip-hop. Heavily self-produced under his Larry Fisherman alias alongside figures like Earl Sweatshirt and Flying Lotus, it addresses struggles with fame, addiction, and mortality.
