Album Notes & Community Reviews

Executive produced by Westside Gunn following the reconciliation of their past feud, this record marks a triumphant return for the reclusive Newark rapper. Blending English and Haitian Creole over dusty, obscure soul and jazz loops, he delivers dense, impenetrable street narratives steeped in the history and struggles of the Haitian diaspora. It stands as a pinnacle release in the modern drumless hip-hop renaissance.
