Album Notes & Community Reviews

Marked by its jazz-rap soundscape, 'The G.A.T...' features murky, atmospheric production from August Fanon that blends rippling keys, airy horns, and lo-fi drum loops. Mach-Hommy delivers intricate, often mumbled verses with a detached tone, exploring themes of street economics, his Haitian heritage, and poetic self-reflection. Originally released with an exorbitant price tag and extreme scarcity, the album's elusiveness quickly cemented its cult status as a definitive work of the modern hip-hop underground.
