Album Notes & Community Reviews

Capturing the ferocious live energy of his legendary Afro-Cubans orchestra, Machito delivers a relentlessly driving set at the Crescendo club in Los Angeles. The album perfectly distills the explosive synergy of massive jazz brass arrangements layered tightly over complex, authentic Afro-Cuban polyrhythms.
