Album Notes & Community Reviews

Often compared to the Kinks' observational songwriting, 'The Rise & Fall' showcases Madness moving beyond their ska revivalist roots into sophisticated, nostalgic pop-rock. Its centerpiece, 'Our House,' became an international crossover hit, defining their unique blend of British music hall tradition and contemporary pop storytelling.
