Album Notes & Community Reviews

Following the intense media backlash surrounding 'Erotica', Madonna collaborated with top R&B producers like Babyface and Dallas Austin to pivot toward a significantly softer, more romantic sound. The album effectively integrated modern hip-hop soul and nascent trip-hop elements into her pop framework, presenting a warmer, more subdued artistic persona.
