Album Notes & Community Reviews

'BOSS' is a studio album by the American noise rock outfit Magik Markers, produced by Lee Ranaldo of Sonic Youth. Moving away from the pure, improvisational chaos of their early basement recordings, the band incorporated structured songwriting and clearer melodies for the first time. The record successfully bridges the gap between blown-out avant-garde noise and heavy indie rock.
