Album Notes & Community Reviews

Cobbled together from various distinct recording sessions, including work with Steve Albini, this project captures Jason Molina's band in a state of prolific transition. The tracks heavily feature the desolate, Neil Young-indebted country-rock melancholia that defines Molina's later career. Despite its fragmented origins, it remains a remarkably cohesive and emotionally crushing listen.
