Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Canadian electronic duo perfects their intensely intimate, minimalist pop formula on their final full-length record. Matthew Otto provides incredibly sparse, glacial synthesizer arrangements designed solely to frame Devon Welsh's nakedly earnest, baritone vocal delivery. The striking lack of traditional percussion or studio embellishment forces a raw, confrontational vulnerability regarding mortality, love, and human connection.
