Album Notes & Community Reviews
The Montreal-based duo achieved critical acclaim by stripping pop music down to its absolute bare essentials. Matthew Otto鈥檚 sparse, pulsing electronic backdrops leave Devon Welsh entirely exposed, allowing his uncomfortably direct and emotionally devastating baritone vocals to carry themes of isolation and existential dread.
