Album Notes & Community Reviews

A brilliant continuation of their long-standing collaborative partnership, this recording captures pianist Mal Waldron and soprano saxophonist Steve Lacy in deep, telepathic musical dialogue. 'Hot House' explores Thelonious Monk and Tadd Dameron compositions through the lens of angular post-bop and daring free jazz improvisation.
