Album Notes & Community Reviews

The long-standing partnership between the legendary pianist and the soprano saxophonist yields an intimate, deeply emotional tribute to Duke Ellington and Billy Strayhorn. 'Sempre amore' is defined by its sparse, conversational interplay and nocturnal elegance. The recording brilliantly showcases their ability to breathe modernist life into classic jazz standards.
