Commissioned by Gilles Peterson, the pioneering dubstep producer traveled to Havana to collaborate with traditional Cuban musicians. The resulting project masterfully fuses live Afro-Cuban percussion, jazz pianos, and vibrant brass with the subterranean, sub-bass weight of South London soundsystem culture. It remains a critically revered milestone of cultural cross-pollination within electronic music.
