Album Notes & Community Reviews
The third studio album from the Philadelphia-based experimental rock band pushes their wildly chaotic, vaudevillian aesthetic into more cohesive, melodic territory. Led by Honus Honus's gruff, Tom Waits-esque vocal delivery, the tracks utilize a chaotic arsenal of horns, xylophones, clavinet, and toy pianos to craft unhinged, gypsy-punk-inspired indie rock. It captures the frantic, circus-like energy of their notoriously wild live performances.
