Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded as the band was literally traversing war-torn Colombia by train, Manu Chao's legendary final album with Mano Negra is a staggeringly ambitious, borderless collage of global sounds. Weaving Latin rhythms, punk, dub, and chaotic street samples, it serves as a chaotic, highly politicized blueprint for the entire alterlatino movement.
