Album Notes & Community Reviews

Marc Ribot's 'Saints' is a solo guitar album devoted largely to the compositions of Albert Ayler, treating 'Ghosts' and 'Holy Family' as standards for radical reinterpretation. Recorded direct and unadorned, it is Ribot's most explicit statement of his free jazz lineage.
