Solar Paroxysm

Album Notes & Community Reviews

On 'Solar Paroxysm', sole member Jacob Buczarski channels frustrations with humanity into a more aggressive and immediate form of cosmic atmospheric black metal. The album is defined by its relentless energy, featuring a dense interplay of pummeling blast beats, soaring tremolo-picked melodies, and a production style that emphasizes a harsher, more direct attack than previous works. While retaining the project's signature melodic sensibilities and expansive song structures, the thematic focus shifts from speculative cosmology to a more direct critique of human failure, resulting in a sound that is both furiously intense and majestically atmospheric.
