Album Notes & Community Reviews

Collaborating with the progressive rock ensemble WIEM, the Polish singer-songwriter masterfully blended the literary tradition of sung poetry with expansive art-rock instrumentation. The record鈥檚 rich arrangements frequently employ strings and jazz-inflected rhythms to elevate Grechuta's melancholic, highly poetic vocal deliveries. It stands as a sophisticated highlight of Eastern European folk and a testament to his unique artistic vision.
