Album Notes & Community Reviews

Collaborating with producer Jonathan Wilson and featuring vocal contributions from Sharon Van Etten, Margo Price pivots dramatically from traditional outlaw country toward expansive heartland rock. Heavily influenced by psychedelic mushroom trips during the pandemic, the record relies on lush, sprawling instrumentation and deeply introspective lyricism regarding liberation and survival.
