Album Notes & Community Reviews

Marking her official solo debut, 'Ama' is an experimental and deeply personal work from Catalan artist Maria Arnal. The album fuses avant-pop and folktronica with advanced technology, including AI and a choral architecture of 60 vocal layers, to create a synthetic yet intimate soundscape. Thematically, the record is an emotional and vulnerable exploration of love and the women in Arnal's life, representing a culmination of her artistic journey after parting ways with collaborator Marcel Bag茅s.
