Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Cavala' is the bold, avant-garde debut solo album by Brazilian artist and clarinetist Maria Beraldo. The record is a raw, deeply sensual exploration of queer identity, marrying traditional MPB vocal deliveries with erratic glitch pop and electro-industrial textures. Its passionate performance and hypnotic, uncommon time signatures established her as a visionary in modern Brazilian alternative music.
