Album Notes & Community Reviews

Swedish composer Maria W Horn returns with her massive and austere new work, 'Melting Pillars of Snow'. Continuing her exploration of heavy minimalist structures, the album merges crushing synthesizer drones with delicate string and choral arrangements. It is a cinematic, slowly evolving record that straddles the lines between modern classical severity and dark ambient.
