Album Notes & Community Reviews
Serving as their final release for EMI Records, the British progressive rock veterans crafted a deeply moving, loosely conceptual album examining the destructive nature of fame and celebrity. Steve Hogarth's highly emotional, soaring vocal performances are perfectly framed by Steve Rothery's incredibly atmospheric, heavily delayed guitar work. The remarkably cohesive, deeply philosophical recording stands out as an absolute high-water mark of the band's post-Fish era.
