Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded in Italy when the English songwriter was just 19 years old, this profoundly obscure acoustic jewel intertwines delicate folk melodies with bizarre, tape-manipulated soundscapes. The titular track weaves recurringly throughout the runtime, grounding the surreal, Lewis Carroll-inspired lyrical imagery. Long forgotten upon its release, it was heavily bootlegged in the 2000s and heralded as a masterpiece of the wyrd folk revival.
